4 Backwoods - Man in the moon
In the night the moon is full and bright
Much brighter as stars
When I raised my eyes
I saw what IĂ´d never believed
I saw the man in the moon
He sleeps still at noon
HeĂ´s afraid of the light
His day is the night
I saw the man in the moon
Believe, itĂ´s the truth
ThereĂ´s no place he donĂ´t find
And I know he comes to you
As a child I dreamed of him at night
I painted a picture on the wall
But I ainĂ´t a child
My eyes are too blind for my dreams
Could you imagine that he weeps
Sometimes he hates his life
Because heĂ´s lonely when we sleep
But he will always be the guardian of the night
His whole life
